Dear Peacocks,

We are praying for little John everyday and at every meal. All the kids are praying for him every time they pray. I love CaringBridge. This is so helpful – to you and to everyone else. Thank you so much for including us. We will not stop praying for Great things from God and expecting Great things from Him! We rejoice in the good news we heard from you this morning! And we thank our Father for every piece of it. We long for and look forward to more and more of it!

The peace of our Savior Jesus enfold you,
The Mac clan

“Help, God — the bottom has fallen out of my life!
Master, hear my cry for help!
Listen hard! Open your ears!
Listen to my cries for mercy.

If you, God, kept records on wrongdoings,
who would stand a chance?
As it turns out, forgiveness is your habit,
and that’s why you’re worshiped.

I pray to God — my life a prayer — and
wait for what He’ll say and do.
My life’s on the line before God, my Lord,
waiting and watching till morning,
waiting and watching till morning.
O my soul, wait and watch for God–
with God’s arrival comes love,
with God’s arrival comes generous redemption.”

(from Psalm 130)

We are so comforted by the knowledge that He hears the prayers of us poor sinners. He hears and He ACTS!!

We speak from experience when we say that the people of Redeemer PRAY and pray wholeheartedly–and we are so blessed and encouraged to see they are continuing to do so for little John. We join them of course and are really hopeful that God is going to bring about the perfect outcome in all this. We love you guys and have you on lots of other prayer lists, too, with our friends and family and so on.

Love,
Erika Castillo

Hi William,
I love you very much. I like you and your toys. I am praying for your little brother. Are you having a good day? I love you very much and I really like your baby brother. I hope we get to play soon. You can share my toys, but I really love you very much (I don’t know how many times he said I love you, but I did a little editing because I didn’t want William to overwhelmed :) .
Love,

Bill and Kelly,

Praise God for all the ways he’s showing you his goodness and mercy during these exhausting days. We pray John continues to gain strength and that you can bring him home soon. Psalm 34 has been a frequent source of comfort when I’ve found myself slipping into fear.

Love,

Susan
